Manna expertise, training and network
Ask a new BSF operator where a project actually stalls, and it's rarely the fly. It's the two ends of the chain: getting good starter stock in, and finding someone to buy what comes out.
01 · The network
Both ends of the chain
Over eight years and 75+ deployments across 30+ countries, Manna has built the network that closes both gaps. It's a quieter part of what Manna does than the software or the facility design — but for many customers it's the part that turns a plan into a running operation.
What that network covers:
02 · What it covers
Starter stock, equipment, partners and buyers
Starter stock. A colony has to begin somewhere. Manna maintains links to tens of qualified suppliers of BSF starter stock — eggs, neonates, and 5-day-old larvae — so an operator isn't hostage to a single source, or forced to build a full breeding program before the case is even proven.
Processing equipment. Drying, sterilisation, separation — the equipment that turns larvae and frass into storable, sellable product. Manna connects customers to vendors it has actually worked with, instead of leaving them to source blind.
Regional partners. Sourcing, logistics, and regulatory navigation are local problems that don't yield to a good manual. Manna's regional partners are how those get handled by people who already operate in that market.
Buyer leads. Output only has value if someone pays for it. Manna maintains buyer leads across feed mills, poultry integrators, fish farms, and horticulture — so offtake is a conversation that starts early, not a scramble after the first harvest.
03 · Why it matters
A year becomes a few introductions
None of this is exotic. It's the unglamorous connective tissue a first-time operator would otherwise spend a year assembling by trial and error. Manna's role is to shorten that year to a few introductions to people it already trusts.
Technology gets a facility built. This network is a large part of what gets it running — and keeps it running.
