This page explains what this website collects, why, and how to ask about it.
Who is responsible
The controller is Manna Insect Oy, registered in Oulu, Finland. Contact details are in the footer of every page on this site.
What this site collects
The site loads no third-party fonts and its pages are static files. It uses cookieless PostHog analytics to measure page views, referrers and approximate time on page. No cookies are set, nothing is stored on your device, and the measurements are not used for advertising.
Information reaches the company only when you submit the contact form — the fields you filled in and the message you wrote. Netlify, the hosting provider that runs this site's form service, stores each submission and emails an alert to the company so the message can be handled. The notification mailbox address is not published; the contact form is the public channel.
Embedded Vimeo videos
Some learning pages include video players provided by Vimeo. When a page contains a player, your browser connects to Vimeo and sends request information such as your IP address, browser details and the page containing the video. Vimeo may store cookies or similar data according to its own privacy practices.
The connection is made when the page loads, even if you do not press play. You do not need to play the video to read the rest of the learning page.
Calculators
Calculator inputs and results are calculated in your browser and kept only in the page's memory. They are not put into links, cookies or device storage. The Calculators page does not load analytics or session recordings.
You can review and edit an estimate summary before adding it to the contact form. Only submitting that form sends the message, including any summary you chose to include, and your contact details to Netlify and Manna. Closing a calculator does not send anything.
Why it is collected
To read your message and reply to it, and to keep a record of the conversation while it is active. It is not used to build a marketing profile and is not sold.
How long it is kept
Messages are kept only as long as they are needed to handle the enquiry and its follow-up.
Your rights
You can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Use the contact form and say what you would like to happen.
Hosting
The site is served as static files by Netlify, the hosting provider, which processes request data such as your IP address in order to deliver the page.
