AI workflows for the whole team (email as interface)
AI, AI, AI. Love it or hate it, it is here to stay and not a bubble on value it brings. However, implementing it to your personal workflow has its own challenges, but try to expand it to your team... ARGH.
01 · The question
From personal AI to team AI
All the conversations I have with other entrepreneurs or people in my industry and tech bubble ask always the same questions: how do I personally go beyond AI in browser, and how does my team benefit from it?
02 · The setup
A terminal-based personal workflow
I am technical nerd and love to live in terminal (mosh, neovim, linux, systemd, python, etc). Using cli based AI agent tools like claude code, opencode, codex is a bliss and I can easily script them to do background stuff, long processes, etc.
I have powerful workflows from agentic deep searches to reporting, analysing budget, improving our knowledge on our industry (biowaste recycling with insects) and creating presentations, marketing messages, sales CRM, etc. All within one folder with markdown files, subfolders and multiple AI agentic guidelines.
03 · The gap
Why the team cannot share it
But my team members don't benefit from my workflows. I cannot give them SSH access to my cloud via terminals as this is superadmin level stuff. Using messaging app for the communication - whatsapp is pain in the a.. and others mean installing a new messaging app only for this purpose.
04 · The experiment
Trying email as an interface
So now I am experimenting with email as an interface. Just like we would have a real remote human assistant with access to our company files, knows who have authority to what content and acts as a filter to what can be updated. It will accept attachments, you can add multiple requests in a queue and it sends attachments back.
