Start with the biowaste opportunity
Before choosing equipment or a facility size, establish what material exists, who would run the process and where the outputs could go.
01 · Material
Describe the real stream
A black soldier fly (BSF) case begins with the material that is actually available, not a nameplate annual total. Record composition, moisture, contamination, seasonal changes and the present treatment route.
Include collection, storage and any preparation needed before the material reaches larvae. Those steps affect cost and whether a steady production plan is possible.
- Where the material arises and how often it is available.
- How composition and moisture change over time.
- What contamination, packaging or rejects must be removed.
02 · Operation
Name the site and operating team
The facility needs a suitable site, utilities, daily operators and maintenance. Local weather and energy costs shape the climate-control task, while skills and routines shape reliability.
Manna does not collect waste or run customer facilities. The customer, a joint venture or another company needs to own the daily operating responsibility.
03 · Products
Work back from permitted uses and buyers
Larvae and residual material become products only after they meet the required quality, processing and local rules. Speak with credible buyers about specifications, volumes and timing before assigning product income.
If a permitted route or realistic buyer is missing, the case needs a different plan. An effective current treatment route can remain the right answer.
