Insect Farm Hub introduced in iGrow News
The launch of Insect Farm Hub, a digital platform for learning, managing, and scaling insect farming globally, was noted in agribusiness and aquaculture publications in May 2025.
iGrow News writes that Insect Farm Hub is a platform for education, management, and global trade, built with the goal of democratizing access to knowledge, farm tools, and global markets, the platform consolidates learning, operations, and trade into one digital space.
Manna Insect is committed to supporting the growth and development of the insect industry and operators of all sizes, from farmers to large scale businesses. In the press release about the official launch of the Insect Farm Hub, Ykä Marjanen, CEO of Manna Insect, states that “We want to help anyone, anywhere, to start and grow their insect farming businesses — regardless of location or income.”
The Insect Farm Hub is free to join and includes a tiered credit system that allows users to earn or purchase credits to unlock premium features. Highlights include developed farm management tools for tracking and scheduling the production, a wide library of online courses, video tutorials, and podcasts, live monthly Q&A sessions for premium members and community engagement through forums and discussion channels. There is also a marketplace for buying and selling insect farming products including BSF eggs, live larvae, dried larvae, frass, mealworms and crickets, as well as for trading tools, equipment and services with early vendors already active on the platform.
When launching the platform, Manna Insect also introduced an AI Mentor, an intelligent assistant capable of responding to questions related to Black Soldier Fly farming and other insect production practices.
